The cookie banner that actually stops cookies.
You add one line of code to your site. Analytics and advertising scripts start only with the visitor's consent, and every choice stays in the log as proof.
Every cookie in its own category
Strictly necessary, functional, analytics, marketing. The necessary ones always run. The rest start only if the visitor accepted them, and if they change their mind, the rejected cookies are deleted from their browser.
Works with Google Tag Manager and Google Consent Mode.
Every choice kept as proof
The log records what each visitor chose, when and on which domain. You can open the proof of a single consent or export the whole log as CSV.
Several domains, one script
You keep all the domains of a site under one account and put the same line of code on each. The panel shows how many visitors accept, how many close the banner without choosing, and how mobile differs from desktop.
Three steps to a banner
-
Add your site
Enter the domains and, if you use Google Tag Manager, the container ID.
-
Fit the banner
Colours, wording, position. You see the result straight away, over a capture of your site.
-
Paste one line into <head>
Above the GTM code, if you have one. The banner appears on the next page load.
<script src="https://cookieyes.md/c/your-site-key.js"></script>
Common questions
Will it slow my site down?
The script is a static file, served straight from disk. Our server hears from the page only when the visitor makes a choice, so that the choice reaches the log.
Does it work with Google Tag Manager?
Yes. The script goes above the GTM code and sends the Google Consent Mode signals before GTM starts. The install page in the panel checks by itself whether the order is right.
I have several domains. Do I need a banner for each?
No. One site in the panel holds all of its domains, with the same script. The visitor's choice stays separate on each domain, because the browser does not let a cookie pass from one domain to another.
What happens if the visitor changes their mind?
They can reopen the banner at any time from the button in the corner of the page. If they withdraw consent, the cookies in the rejected categories are deleted.
Can I turn the banner off without removing the script from my site?
Yes. You pause it from the panel and resume it whenever you want.
